OK, truth being, having your own website will make things a whole lot easier but you really don't need a website to earn money online.
In affiliate marketing, there is one tool that is essential for your success, a good auto responder. You need a good auto responder that will send message to your contact list that you will obtain once you get some clientele. There's free auto responders but it is better if you go with a paid service as after trying many free ones, they all have proven to be not as effective as paid ones. You can subscribe to an auto responder service. Their fees vary but for about $10 a month you can get a good auto responder. Best thing is that many autoresponders offer affiliate programs so you can show its effectiveness by using it yourself!
Let us move on to the steps to earning income without a website.
First
You should establish yourself as an expert of the products that you are selling. You can create content that focus on the subject that the product you sell covers. You can do this by submit articles to the various article submission websites which you can get a good list of if you send me a private message. You can also sign up to forums, like this one and interact with the members and show off your expertise by replying to forum posts that fall under the topic of your product. To not come off as trying to sell something, you can use your affiliate link in the signature of the forums, that way people can check out the link if they wish to learn more. Another trick is to start newsletters, you can find various websites to create newsletters and there are also websites that have subscribers to newsletters to which you can sign up and contact people through their newsletter program and offer advice or send them useful information and you can attach your affiliate link somewhere within the newsletter.
Second
In the bottom of your articles, write an author box describe yourself and add your affiliate link in there. Tell them how they can learn more by going to this website, your referral link.
Third
Promote your item through your auto responder. People will be contacting you when you submit your articles. Timing is perfect to promote your affiliate link through the auto responder. If you wrote an article on cooking certain foods, you can add a line in your article like," For More Cooking Tips e-mail me at name@yourautoresponderaddress.com"
Fourth
In your auto responder write several short emails. Add some small tips in each email to keep the prospective customer interested in you and in your product. Most importantly, add your referral link in the email right after the tip.
Fifth
With this not only have you promoted your product around for free but you have also established a good size contact list by the people emailing you for more. You can reuses this contact link to contact them in the future or other products that you may become affiliated with. This list becomes the list for your newsletter and for your next marketing venture.
Sixth
Try writing new articles at least once a week. I do recommend writing new articles daily. That would be optimal but we all know how that can be tiring and hard to do. The more you create, the more original articles that you can distribute to the different article directories. Within a short period of time you will have established a good size contact list and best of all, this will have been achieved without you having spent a dime on a website!

If you have a blog on one of the free platforms, like Blogger or Wordpress, your articles can be used to focus on individual items sold through your affiliate, This is easy to do with skin care and cosmetics, but will works for other items as well.

Using one item as the focus of your article allows you to "strut your stuff", showing that you are familiar with the product and building trust. An added benefit is that you aren't hoping your article gets selected out of the millions on a free article site. You simply add pictures of your product, linked out to the purchase page on the affiliate site, and place a banner for your affiliate program at the end of the article.

Then, be sure your blog is submitted to as many blog directories as possible, and create a widget for it so that you can embed that widget on your other blogs, if you have more than one.


The more that you can isolate your information from that found in sites where your article or video clip might get buried, the less energy you have to spend getting traffic to that article or video clip.
